NO teacher is so gifted that they can help a student progress and accomplish their goals if they don't practice. For that reason, it is expected that every student devote practice time, at least five days a week, equal or greater to the duration of his/her lesson. Every lesson, Shaun Manley creates practice sheets of elements to be practiced during the week, so that practice time is efficient and thorough.
~~Shaun Manley began his piano studies in Orange County at the age of seven. At age twelve, he moved to Redding and began studying piano and composition with Duane Hampton. In high school, he was a regular performer in the Touch of Classical Piano series. He attended the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music, where he studied piano with world renown concert pianist Frank Wiens, earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He went on to earn his California State Teaching Credential and accepted a teaching position immediately following commencement. Shaun currently lives in Rescue, CA with his beautiful wife and daughter. He is the Pleasant Grove Middle School Instrumental Music Director, the Musical Director for the Oakridge High School Drama Department, and the sole Educator for Shaun Manley School of Music. He also continues to perform, compose, and record music all around California.
